Approval for the proposed development is required from Department of Planning & Environment (Water) and NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979, in respect of: A Controlled Activity Approval is required from Department of Planning shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au f & Environment (Water) under Section 91 of the Water Management Act 2000. The proposed development requires authorisation under section 100B of the Rural Fires Act 1997 in respect of bush fire safety of subdivision of land that could lawfully be used for residential or rural residential purposes and accordingly the general terms of approval are being sought in accordance with this section of the Rural Fires Act 1997.
