The proposal may impact an Aboriginal heritage site. Pursuant to the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, Aboriginal people and organisations with cultural associations to the area are invited to register interest in a community consultation process to assist SCC in the preparation of an application for an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit and to assist the Secretary of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water in the determination of the application.
